Product Overview:
CY-SS is a retractable CIP nozzle engineered for hygienic, high-impact cleaning of spray drying chambers, cyclones, fluidized beds, reactors, and storage tanks.
When idle, the nozzle head sits flush with the equipment wall, eliminating product entrapment and process interference. Under operating pressure, the nozzle extends automatically to deliver a powerful 180° flat spray with a 1.8 m impact radius. Once the water supply stops, it retracts instantly and seals, leaving zero liquid residue.
Manufactured from 316L stainless steel with PEEK sealing components, CYCO CY-SS meets the hygienic requirements of pharmaceutical, food & beverage, and chemical processing applications.
How It Works:
CY-SS telescopic retractable spray nozzle is designed to provide efficient, hygienic cleaning without interfering with production processes.
Step 1. Standby (Retracted State)
When not in operation, the nozzle head remains fully retracted and flush with the inner wall of the equipment. This prevents product buildup and eliminates contamination risks in systems such as spray dryers, cyclones, fluidized beds, and storage tanks.
Step 2. Activation
During the cleaning cycle, water or cleaning fluid is pumped into the nozzle under pressure.
Step 3. Automatic Extension
The fluid pressure drives the nozzle head forward into the vessel, positioning it for optimal cleaning coverage.
Step 4. Cleaning Process
The nozzle delivers a high-impact spray with a 180° angle, effectively removing residues from internal surfaces.
Step 5. Automatic Retraction
Once the water supply stops, the nozzle head automatically retracts back to its original flush position, preventing liquid residue and ensuring hygienic operation.
