How It Works:

CY08 tank cleaning nozzle operates through fluid-driven rotation. Cleaning liquid enters the nozzle body and generates rotational force through strategically positioned drive nozzles.

The cleaning head simultaneously rotates along both axial and radial directions, creating a controlled 3D cleaning trajectory. This indexed spray pattern delivers repeated high-impact cleaning across the entire tank interior.

Unlike conventional static spray balls, the CY08 combines mechanical impact with full coverage, significantly improving cleaning efficiency for medium and heavily contaminated tanks.

Key Features:

All four nozzles are pre-set at 90° intervals and rotate simultaneously on both axial and radial axes. As one pair completes a full sweep, the second pair executes a complementary pass, encrypting coverage and eliminating any remaining blind spots.

The patented flow-stabilisation geometry collimates the spray stream before it exits each nozzle, producing a tighter, higher-velocity jet. This concentrated impact breaks up stubborn residues more effectively than wide-dispersion nozzles operating at the same pressure.

Compared with traditional static spray devices, the CY08 rotary cleaning nozzle reduces water and chemical consumption while maintaining excellent cleaning efficiency.

CY08 tank cleaning nozzle is designed with a fully sealed housing. Internal components are manufactured from self-lubricating, maintenance-free materials, eliminating the need for additional lubrication during normal operation.

For optimal performance:

  • After each cleaning cycle, flush the nozzle with clean water or a suitable cleaning solvent to remove any residue and prevent the buildup of contaminants.
  • Over time, deposits from the cleaning liquid may accumulate on internal components, potentially affecting rotation or startup performance.
  • If the nozzle will not be used for an extended period, rinse it thoroughly before storage.
  • If the nozzle does not rotate after a long storage period, soak it in clean water or an appropriate cleaning solvent for a while before returning it to service.

No. Internal moving parts use Rulon® self-lubricating polymer; no grease or oil is needed. After each use, flush the nozzle with water or the same cleaning solvent to prevent residue build-up. If the nozzle has been idle for an extended period, soak in water or solvent before use.

Choose φ6 for tanks up to ~7.5 m diameter at 15 bar. Choose φ8 when you need a higher flow (up to ~250 L/min) or need to clean tanks approaching the 8 m maximum. If you are unsure, share your tank dimensions and supply pressure, and our engineers will recommend the correct configuration.
