- Suitable for CIP Systems
Product Overview:
CYCO K4 rotary tank cleaning nozzle mounts three high-pressure flat fan spray tips on a compact rotary head. Cleaning liquid flowing through the inlet drives the head to spin freely, sweeping every interior surface with overlapping fan jets, zero dead angles, and no external motor required.
Two models cover different access constraints:
- 36250 (anticorrosive plastic body + 316SS spring, max. 5 bar) suits standard openings:
- 28250 (316SS body, max. 7 bar) passes through an inlet as narrow as Ø42 mm, making it ideal for narrow-neck bottles and sealed barrels.
Both models clean containers up to 1.5 m in diameter, designed for efficient cleaning of small tanks, drums, barrels, jars, process vessels, and containers.
How It Works:
The cleaning liquid enters the rotary spray head and drives the internal rotating mechanism.
Three high-impact flat fan nozzles are mounted at carefully calculated positions on the spray head. As the head rotates, the spray jets create overlapping cleaning paths that cover the entire tank interior.
This rotary cleaning action combines:
- Mechanical impact
- Complete spray coverage
- Efficient water utilization
The result is faster cleaning cycles and improved cleaning consistency compared with static spray devices.
Key Features:
- 360° no-dead-angle coverage
Three fan jets positioned at precise angles ensure the full internal surface falls within the spray trajectory at every rotation position.
- Self-rotating, no external drive
Liquid pressure alone powers the head; nothing to wire up or maintain.
- Passes Ø42 mm inlets (28250)
The sector spray head with low-flux design allows insertion through narrow openings without disassembly.
- High-pressure rated
36250 up to 5 bar; 28250 up to 7 bar for stubborn residues.
- Corrosion-resistant materials
36250 body: anticorrosive engineering plastic + hardened 316SS bearing spring; 28250 body: 316SS throughout.
- Standard connections
3/4″ BSP(T) or NPT female; drops straight into existing CIP pipework.

Applications:
K4 tank cleaning nozzle is engineered for CIP (clean-in-place) washing of small containers, bottles, jars, drums, and narrow-neck tanks, where inserting a large cleaning head is impossible. Common use cases include:
- Food & beverage: beer bottles, wine barrels, dairy vats, juice containers
- Pharmaceutical & biotech: reagent bottles, bioreactor vessels, sterile containers
- Chemical & petrochemical: solvent drums, ethanol barrels, paint containers
- Cosmetics & personal care: cream jars, lotion bottles, dispenser tanks
- Industrial & municipal: fuel canisters, transport drums, wastewater sample containers
The 28250 model is particularly suited wherever the container inlet diameter is as small as 42 mm.
FAQs
Q1: What is the difference between the 36250 and 28250 models?
The 36250 features an anticorrosive plastic body and is rated to a maximum of 5 bar, making it suitable for standard container openings at moderate pressure.
The 28250 is a full 316 stainless steel body rated to 7 bar, and its compact spray head (56 mm wide) passes through inlets as narrow as Ø42 mm, ideal for narrow-neck bottles and sealed drums.
Q2: What is the minimum inlet diameter for the K4 28250 nozzle?
The 28250 impact nozzle can be inserted through container inlets as small as Ø42 mm, making it one of the most compact tank washing solutions for small containers.
Q3: What is the maximum operating pressure?
The 36250 model operates at up to 5 bar. The 28250 model operates at up to 7 bar.
Q4: What size containers can the K4 nozzle clean?
Both the 36250 and 28250 models are designed to effectively clean containers up to 1.5 metres in internal diameter. The three flat fan spray jets rotate 360° to cover the full interior surface with no dead angles.
Q5: What industries is the K4 tank washing nozzle used in?
The K4 tank cleaning nozzle is widely used in food and beverage (bottles, barrels, dairy vats), pharmaceutical and biotech (reagent vessels, sterile containers), chemical and petrochemical (solvent drums, ethanol barrels), cosmetics (lotion and cream containers), and industrial cleaning applications.
