Design features:
- Larger droplets allow for applications in production environments with high flow requirements.
- The unique gyratory chamber design ensures optimal performance of the spray drying nozzle. In addition, it ensures uniform droplet distribution and uniform droplet size, minimizing product waste.
- A stainless steel spring is used to secure the gyratory chamber to the orifice insert.
- Pressures can reach up to 5,000 psi (340 bar) and flow rates up to 3,019 gph (11,340 L/h).
- Sloped bottom design minimizes erosion at the bottom of the gyratory chamber for longer life.
- Flat-bottom design with large passages reduces the chance of clogging and downtime.
- The nozzle body is made of 303 stainless steel, the cyclone chamber is made of tungsten carbide, and the orifice inserts are made of carbide alloy. Other materials for the gyratory chamber and orifice are available upon request.
- Spray angles from 19° to 104° at 1000 psi (70 bar).

Performance data:
Applications:
It is used in drying chambers where a thin material is atomized and, upon contact with hot air, the moisture quickly vaporizes, resulting in a dried product. This method can directly dry solutions or emulsions into powdered or granular products, eliminating the need for evaporation and grinding processes.
