The atomizing nozzle enjoys a good spray effect and a good reputation in the spray industry. However, few people know that there are actually two common spray methods for atomizing nozzles, namely, medium atomization and mechanical atomization.
First, the medium is atomized.
According to the different atomization media, the media of the atomization nozzle can be subdivided into bubble atomization and pneumatic atomization.
1. Bubble atomization.
The advantages of the bubble atomization atomization method are that the gas consumption is small, the atomization quality is high, and the atomization effect is hardly affected by the outlet diameter.
Therefore, bubble atomization is suitable for atomizing high-viscosity liquid fuels such as heavy and residual oil.
The principle of bubble atomization is to inject compressed air into the liquid to form a stable bubble-like two-phase flow in the mixing chamber of the atomizing nozzle. It changes drastically at a very short distance from the outlet of the atomizing nozzle. The surrounding liquid film is broken into finer liquid mist particles.
2. Pneumatic atomization.
Pneumatic atomization can obtain good atomization effect under lower fuel supply pressure, and can also obtain higher atomization quality when using high-viscosity fuel, which can be widely adjusted and used flexibly.
The principle of pneumatic atomization is to rely on a certain pressure of gas to form a high-speed airflow, thereby promoting the formation of a high relative velocity between the gas and the fuel to achieve the purpose of atomization.
Second, mechanical atomization.
Mechanized atomization is mainly due to the high-speed jet generated by the pressure difference to atomize the fuel, and it can be divided into three types: direct injection, centrifugal and rotary.
The atomization of the atomizing nozzle can turn the liquid fuel into very small particles and uniform size liquid mist, thereby increasing the contact area between the liquid fuel and the combustion air, effectively promoting evaporation, and enabling the fuel to be fully and effectively burned. The more atomized particles are The finer, the more fully burned.
Therefore, choosing a good atomizing nozzle is an important way to improve production efficiency and save energy.
